My Story and Philosophy
I am a qualified counsellor with an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology (2022) from Middlesex University London. I am also under training and supervision to become a psychotherapist at the Institute of Psychosynthesis London.
I have recently published a bilingual book of therapeutic poetry, "Inner Callings - a pilgrim's diary" (Romanian - English). This volume captures some raw confessions along my personal and spiritual growth journey. Please find the book reviews and consider purchasing it here.
Born in Romania, I moved to London in 2013. I have been working part-time as a massage therapist and am qualified in alternative energy healing modalities: Emotional Freedom Technique, Matrix Reimprinting and Reiki.
In 2014 I experienced a major turning point. I lost all passion for the law degree I was studying at the time. I was desperate for more meaning in life, so I quit my studies at King's College London and embarked on a personal journey of self-inquiry and healing.
In my explorations, I came across various fields of personal development, healing, spirituality and therapy, as well as their interplay. When psychosynthesis came into my life, a light bulb went off, and I knew I had arrived "home". I have devoted my life to studying and applying its context and techniques for psychospiritual development and the evolution of human consciousness.
As a highly sensitive, empathic and caring person, I feel called to facilitate healing, growth and transformation in the lives of those ready and willing to change for the better. Since 2018 I have been offering Women's Wellness Circles, and since 2020 I've been in private practice as a counsellor and trainee psychotherapist.
I have always sensed the innate evolutionary potential that longs to become fulfilled through human beings. We all seem to yearn to express our unique combination of strengths, interests and talents in service to the larger story of mankind. Our trials and obstacles are inevitable stepping stones for our growth and maturation.
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you", said 12th-century Sufi poet and mystic Rumi. My counselling & therapy practice and artistic offerings are based on this philosophy - I am dedicated to helping people heal their traumas, shine their soul gifts and embrace authentic self-expression.
In my free time, I write poetry, dance, read, practise yoga & meditation, enjoy quality time with friends and walk in nature. I am based in South East London with my beloved partner and take trips to Romania twice a year to spend time with my family and friends back home.
